Ryan Wade - M.P.T

After graduating from Weeping Water High School, Ryan continued his education at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. At Rockhurst Ryan received his Bachelors degree in Psychology and his Masters degree in Physical Therapy. Following his graduation from Rockhurst, Ryan moved to South Carolina and worked as a staff physical therapist at Clemson Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.  While employed at Clemson Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation he was instrumental in developing the Clemson Work Center and became the director of physical therapy. While employed at the Work Center, he developed a work conditioning program, performed functional capacity evaluations, and was involved with orthaepedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary patients. He was also involved with the development of a pre and post work conditioning program for the Dunlop Company. Ryan was also involved with the fabricating of personal orthotics. After three years Ryan returned to Nebraska to work for Husker Rehabilitation and Wellness Centers. Ryan has been employed at Husker Rehabilitation and Wellness Centers since 2004 and became a practicing partner in 2009.  He currently works out of the Beatrice location where his duties include treating orthaepedic, cardiopulmonary, and neurological patients.  Ryan also performs functional capacity evaluations and oversees all day to day operations in the Beatrice location that currently includes physical therapy, occupational medicine, and wellness.  Ryan enjoys spending time with his daughter and attending husker athletic events.

Heather Blecha, P.T.A  Physical Therapist Assistant

Heather is a 2010 summer graduate of Missouri Western University with an Associate’s Degree in the Physical Therapy Assistant program, joining the Beatrice team in September of 2010.  Her clinical experiences include aquatic therapy, orthopedics, acute and long term care.  A true Husker, Heather is originally from Steinauer, Nebraska  and is a graduate of Pawnee City Schools. She enjoys outdoor activities, playing volleyball and eating mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Nancy Kisling, RN

One of the original Husker Health employee partners, Nancy has worked in the field of occupational health since 1990. She has enjoyed an extensive continuing education in occupational medicine, and provides drug and alcohol screening services for Husker Health on an on-call basis.  She and her husband Morris live in Cortland, Nebraska, where they actively farm land in the area. They enjoy spending winter months in Arizona, far away from frigid Nebraska winters.

Peggy Beerbohm, RN

For more than three decades, Peggy practiced nursing in a rural hospital, with special interests in obstetrics and emergency care. In 2008, Peggy joined Husker Health as a part-time registered nurse. Now, she provides service in the occupational health department of Husker Health, helping injured employees get back to work.  She lives in Fairbury, where she and her husband, a retired music teacher, raised three children.

Beth Trauernicht, Office Manager

Before joining the trainers and rehabilitation specialists at Husker Health in Beatrice, Beth worked in the human resources and teaching fields. Her responsibilities as the office manager of Husker Health include managing all client accounts and scheduling for all departments for the Beatrice location.

Mike Hahn, CPT, CSCS

Mike is a true Husker, not only because he is a native of Paxton, Nebraska, but also because he attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. During his studies, he provided services to clients at Lincoln’s Husker Rehabilitation and Wellness Centers. Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science and a minor in athletic coaching. Now he is a permanent member of our training staff. His focus on rehabilitation and extensive education in all areas of personal wellness makes him an excellent personal trainer.

Lisa Goossen, RN, BSN

Lisa joined the Husker Health occupational health department in 2007. When you include the work she has done for us since then, you can say she offers nearly a decade and a half of experience to our patients and customers who need the assurance of professional care and evaluation. Today, Lisa shares the head nurse role for the Husker Health occupational health department, where she puts her extensive experience as an occupational tester and trainer to use screening workers for employment and re-employment. She is pleased to be working in Beatrice, where both she and her husband, Marv, are natives. They share their home with two children, and they spend much of their spare time following the children’s activities. Lisa is active in both the community and her church, as well, and enjoys boating.

Robyn Barr-Fort, LMT

Robyn owns and operates, Renewal Massage and Spa, located inside Husker Health. She offers a variety of therapeutic and spa services that enhance Husker Health’s wellness environment. Robyn has been practicing massage for 5 years, offering deep tissue and Swedish massage, Chinese cupping and personal pampering specialty packages. Robyn is an all-around valuable employee that also assists the front desk and physical therapy departments as needed. A native of southeast Nebraska and a graduate of the Universal College of Healing Arts in Omaha, Robyn makes her home in rural Plymouth with her husband and 2 children. Robyn is available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays by appointment.
